TERRY K. ROGERS, 59
TERRY K. ROGERS, 59, of Ossian, died Sunday, September 5, 2004, in Fort Wayne. Born March 4, 1945, in Decatur, he had worked for Lucent (AT&T), retiring in 1993.
He was a member of V.F.W. Kekionga Post 1421 and American Legion Post 241. He served in the U.S. Army.
Surviving are his mother, Betty Rogers of Fort Wayne; daughter, Marla (Jack) Martinez of New Haven; son, Neil D. Rogers of Fort Wayne; brothers, Bob of Fort Wayne, Jerry (Martha) of Van Wert, Ohio, Jim (Coleen) of Fort Wayne; Steve of Pendleton, Doug of Fort Wayne and Dan of Yoder; sisters, Gloria (Charlie) Sanderson of Fort Wayne, Susie (Kenny) Lude of Columbia City, Joie (Loren) Means of Fort Wayne, Barb (Mike) Hungerford of Fort Wayne and Becky (Bob) Campbell of Fort Wayne; and grandchildren, Teya Martinez and Neo Martinez, both of New Haven.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Rogers, in 1985.
Funeral service was Thursday, September 9, at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne. Burial Thursday at Prairie Grove Cemetery, Fort Wayne, with Military Graveside Honors by American Legion Post 241 Honor Guard.
