Meet at the Eagle Marsh barn, 6801 Engle Road, Fort Wayne to hike and explore the preserve’s interesting plants and wildlife.

Let’s Go Bats!
Light breakfast and nature presentation for nature lovers 50+ at Coventry Meadows Senior Community on W. Jefferson Blvd., Fort Wayne. Bob Walton will bring some of the bats he’s rescued and teach us interesting facts about this vital flying mammal.

9 to 10:30 a.m.
Family Fun Hike: Owls, Pellets and Food Chains
Meet at the Eagle Marsh barn, 6801 Engle Road, Fort Wayne. We’ll start in the barn dissecting owl pellets and use the bones found to determine what the owl ate. Then we’ll hike the winter woods looking for perching owls and their prey. Dress warmly.

Owl Night Hike
Meet at the Eagle Marsh barn, 6801 Engle Road, Fort Wayne. Join Bob Walton, other members of Soarin’ Hawk, and some of their rescued owls and raptors to learn more about these magnificent birds. Then we’ll hike under the full moon and practice our owl calls to attract owls in the area. Dress warmly.
