IRENE ELIZABETH STARK MCCAGUE, 93
IRENE ELIZABETH STARK MCCAGUE, 93, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at Hospice Home. She was born September 9, 1916 in Jewett, Illinois and was a homemaker and had previously worked in the kitchen for Fort Wayne Community Schools. Mrs. McCague was a member of Waynedale United Methodist Church. She was also a member of Eastern Star, Evening Stars, Wayne Township Fire Department Women’s Auxiliary and Red Hatters.
Surviving are her children, William (Linda) Stark of Fort Wayne, Jude (Merrill) Stark Cline of Louisville, Kentucky, James J. (Kathy) Stark of Ossian, John (Kay) Stark, Bob (Mary) Stark, Dan (Molly) Stark and Kathy (Anton Schmidt) Stark all of Fort Wayne; sixteen grandchildren; thirty six great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Preceding Mrs. McCague in death along with her parents, George Washington and Ida Mae (Vandehoff) Trostle are, her first husband Edward William Stark in 1970; her second husband Kenneth F. McCague in 2000; six brothers; five sisters and one great great granddaughter Lexy.
Services were Saturday, March 27, 2010 at 10:30 A.M. at Waynedale United Methodist Church, Fort Wayne, IN. Visitation will be on Friday at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Rd, Fort Wayne, IN from 4 to 7 P.M. Eastern Star service at 7:00 P.M. Visitation was 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
Burial at Covington Masonic Gardens, Covington.
Preferred memorials may be made to Waynedale United Methodist Church or Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home.
