ALEXIS “LEXI” NICHOLE STARK-BORK, age 3

ALEXIS “LEXI” NICHOLE STARK-BORK, age 3, unexpectedly passed from this life on Saturday, November 28, 2009, at Parkview Hospital. Lexy was born to Jessica Stark and Allen Bork on July 15, 2006 in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Lexi is pictured here with her grandfather Clay Stark. She was much loved and she loved much. Her favorite color was pink and she was particularly fond of bananas, cashew nuts and shrimp. One of her favorite things to do was hide from old Pa-Pa (great-grandfather John) and make him find her and she liked to sit in his big leather chair whenever he got up and then insist that he should sit in the cat’s chair whenever he returned. Lexi was in the process of learning her ABC’s, and numbers and had already learned to draw circles, squares and rectangles. She told her great-grandmother Kay that she was going to draw a picture of old Pa-Pa and give him a rectangular head.

Lexi is survived by her parents Alan Bork and Jessica Stark; sister Audrianna Stark; paternal grandparents Clay and Lisa Stark of Fort Wayne; maternal grandparents Mark and Rebecca Hardesty of Craigville; great-grandmothers Kathleen Domurat; Patricia M. Stark; great-grandparents, Richard and Phyllis Reinking, John E. and Kay Stark; great-great grandmothers Irene McCague and Norma Gasper; uncles C.J. Stark and Jordan Stark; aunts Stephanie Dawson, April Warner and Ashley Reinking; great uncle Keith Reinking; and great aunt Karla Hofherr.

Memorial services were held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, at D.O. McCombs & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Avenue withRev. Jason Schlatter officiating.
