RALPH “BUCKSHOT” SOWERS, 85
RALPH “BUCKSHOT” SOWERS, 85, of Fort Wayne, died Sunday, November 29, 2009, at 1 a.m.
He served four years in the U.S.M.C. during World War II. He retired from the National Guard.
Surviving are three children, Rick (Kathleen) Sowers, Sue (Bill) Trigg and Stacy Sowers; eight grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Novalee Sowers and; and son, Tim Sowers.
Visitation was from 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
