JACK W. CALKINS, 70
JACK W. CALKINS, 70, of Zionsville, died on Tuesday, July 14, 2009, at St. Vincent Hospice, Indianapolis. Born June 10, 1939, in Fort Wayne, he was a member of Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.
He worked as a machine specialist for Janitor Supply Co., Fort Wayne. He was an avid train collector and belonged to the T.C.A.
Surviving are his wife, Rosalie A. Calkins of Zionsville; son, Rick (Kristi) Calkins of Zionsville; daughter, Cari (Mike) Wright of Indianapolis; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two children; and sister, Lillian J. Phillips.
Mass of Christian Burial was 10 a.m. Saturday at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, with calling one hour prior. Calling also from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, with Rosary service at 4:30 p.m. Friday. Burial in Catholic Cemetery.
