LYLE W. CONKLING, 80, of Fort Wayne, died Sunday, October 30, 2005, at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home, Fort Wayne. Born June 21, 1925, in Cromwell, Indiana, he was a truck driver with Teamsters. He was a member of American Legion 241, Southwest Conservation Club and a U.S. Army Veteran, discharged in 1946.
Survived by his former wife, Karen McHugh of Fort Wayne; daughter, Tracey E. Maraviov of Fort Wayne; son, Kevin W. (Linda) Conkling of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; brothers, Burlin Conkling of Kimmell, Indiana and Kenneth Conkling of Dundee, Florida; and three grandchildren.
Family received friends Thursday, November 3, at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road.
