MILLARD HOSKINS, 76, of Fort Wayne, died Saturday, April 30, 2005, at Lutheran Hospital. Born June 7, 1928, in Bell County, Kentucky, he was the son of the late James and Laura (Taylor) Hoskins.
He was employed by International Harvester, as a machinist, retiring in 1982. He served ten years in the Army and in the Korean War, 1950-1951. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and his grandchildren.
Survived by his wife of 54 years, Rita J. Hoskins; sons, Michael (Karen) of Columbia City, Dan (Eileen) of Fort Wayne, and Mark of Hoagland; daughters, Robin West of Fort Wayne and Tanya (John) Jones of Leo; 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Paul (Jauana) Hoskins of Tiawas City, Michigan, Bill (Mary) Hoskins of Calvin, Kentucky; sisters, Evelyn Robbins of Mt. Washington, Kentucky, Betty (Harold) Jeffrey of Norwood, Ohio and Buelah (Harold) Lewis of Stanford, Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Gerrid McPherson; five brothers; and one sister.
Service was Thursday, May 5, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Road Chapel.
