EDWIN F. CHRISTMAN, 80, of Fort Wayne, died Thursday May 5, at Hospice Home, Fort Wayne. He was born in Wells County, Indiana. Mr. Christman had worked in construction for 14 years previous to retiring from the U.S. Postal Service as a letter carrier. He was an Army Veteran, a member of American Legion Post 423, life member of D.A.V. and a member of N.A.R. and N.A.L.C.
He is survived by his wife Marian A. Christman, daughters Deborah (Bruce) Springer, Fort Wayne, Elaine (David) Shown, Huntertown, Maxine (Colby) Keeny, Fort Wayne, Jane Christman of Albion, and one son, Edwin R. Christman of Fort Wayne, sister Alice Harber of Fort Wayne and brothers Charles L. Christman and Paul R. Christman of Fort Wayne. He had seven grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial was Tuesday, May 10, at St. Therese Catholic Church, 2304 Lower Huntington Road, Fort Wayne. Arangements by Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road. Burial at St. Aloysius Catholic Cemetery.
