MARY S. DAUTZ, 93

MARY S. DAUTZ, 93, of Fort Wayne, died Friday, November 19, 2004, at her residence. Born September 15, 1911, in Muncie, she was former owner of Dautz Florist with her husband, Herb, for 70 years. She was still working at the florist a year ago. She was a member of Emmaus Ladies Aid, Fort Wayne Sports Club and Emmaus Lutheran Church.

Surviving are her son, Harold R. Dautz of Fort Wayne; daughter, Joanna S. Raber of Fort Wayne; brother, Robert Schweppe of Ossian; grandchildren, Kimberly Raber, Suzie (Jim) Steele, Trena (Dave) Echenoz and Deb Dautz; and great-grandchildren, Amanda Steele, Tanner and Alex Echenoz.

She was preceded in death by Herb Dautz in 1985.

Funeral service was Wednesday, November 24, at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne. Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne.
