GREGORY P. FRERICKS, 45
GREGORY P. FRERICKS, 45, died Thursday, April 1, 2004. A lifelong resident of Fort Wayne and Lake Wawasee, he was a graduate of Bishop Luers High School and Xavier University.
He was the president of Frericks Insurance, Fort Wayne, and a member of The Professional Insurance Association. He was active in the parishes of St. John the Baptist, Fort Wayne, and St. Martin de Porres, Syracuse. He was a member of The National Eagle Scout Association, was past-president of the Board of Directors of Saint Anne Home, Fort Wayne, and enjoyed his committee work for The Morrison Island Association at Lake Wawasee.
Survivors include his daughters, Elizabeth Frericks and Emma Frericks, both of Fort Wayne; father and stepmother, Arthur C. and Margaret Frericks of Stuart, Fla. and Lake Wawasee; brothers, Justin Frericks of Syracuse and Peter Frericks of Fort Wayne; and sisters, Rose Ryles of Hollywood, Fla. and Mary Dempsey of Fairfax, Va.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Frericks, in 2001. Mass of Christian Resurrection was Friday, June 11, in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 4500 S. Fairfield Ave., Fort Wayne. Calling was Thursday, June 10, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Homes, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne. Burial at Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
