RUTH ELLEN BOWMAN, 64

Ruth Ellen Bowman, 64, died Sunday, February 2, 2003 at her rural Yoder Residence. A native of Fort Wayne, She was a Payroll Coordinator for Lutheran Health Network for 20 years. She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by a sister Rosemary Sorg, and by here parents William & Garnett Newhard Sorg.

She is survived by her husband Kenneth L. Bowman, Yoder, Indiana; daughters Rosemary Shipman, Fort Wayne; Robin Bowman, Chicago, Illinois; sons John K. Bowman, Peachtree City, Georgia; Joseph C. Bowman, Indianapolis, Indiana; James W. Bowman, Indianapolis; sisters Anna Catherine Smith, Yoder; Cheryl White, Yoder; brothers William J. Sorg, Jr., Yoder; Peter C. Sorg, Fort Wayne, and 7 Grandchildren.

Services were held Thursday, February 6, 2003 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church with burial in St. Aloysius Catholic Cemetery. Memorials to Parkview Hospice or St. Aloysius Building Fund. Information furnished by Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals.
