GIVE A GIFT
There’s one gift you can give that doesn’t require a manual, programming or even batteries. In fact it won’t cost you a dime. You can give the gift of life by choosing to become an organ donor. The National Kidney Foundation of Indiana (KNFI) is encouraging all Americans to get into the true spirit of giving by simply signing a donor card and discussing their wishes with their family.
There are more than 78,000 men, women, and children in need of a life-saving organ in the U.S. with nearly 800 awaiting a transplant in Indiana. If every American chose to become an organ donor, this waiting list could be wiped out forever. Sign a donor card; it may be the one gift that could change someone’s life. For more information or to receive your free organ donor card, call 1-800-382-9971.
