Worship & Church Events Canceled – Held Online

In order to slow the spread of the novel coronavirus COVID-19 in the community, the Health Commissioner is prohibiting church gatherings in Allen County, including those held in non-church venues.

The order, effective Sunday, March 22 at 12:01 a.m., states no gatherings with an aggregate total of more than 10 individuals in a church building is permitted.

“While we understand people are still in need of spiritual guidance during these difficult times, we need to be sure everyone grasps the importance of social distancing and avoiding any non-essential gatherings,” said health commissioner Dr. Deborah McMahan. “We need the whole community’s cooperation in slowing the spread of COVID-19 to a pace that allows our healthcare systems to provide essential medical care to the expected growing number patients who will contract the virus in addition to all other patients they serve on a regular basis.”

The order is effective until April 11 at 11:59 p.m. or until it is extended, rescinded, superseded or amended in writing by the Health Commissioner.

This does not affect child care and day care services operated from those facilities. Child care and day care facilities are considered essential services according to state guidance and allowed to operate in accordance with any issued Family and Social Services Administration rulings in this regard.

FINANCIAL PEACE UNIVERSARY (FPU)
When: 1st session on Monday September 23rd at 7:00 PM

Add’l: The nine-lesson course that gives you the proven plan to master budgeting, pay off debt, build wealth, and give generously. The course centers around lessons taught by Dave Ramsey, Chris Hogan and Rachel Cruze, followed by small group discussions. FPU includes your member workbook as well as one year of free access to Financial Peace Membership, where you will find tons of online resources to help you start winning with money.
Cost: The class is $109/couple, but well-worth the cost.

MORNINGS WITH MOMMY, IT ISN’T PRESCHOOL, IT ISN’T CHILDCARE
When: First and Third Wednesday of each month 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
Where: Fellowship Hall
Who: Infants, toddlers, and preschoolers with their mommies or caretakers.
Why: It is a fun and easy way for Moms or caretakers to enjoy activities with the children.
Add’l: Activities include arts, crafts, sensory table, story time, music, educational toys and a snack. A particular theme is covered each session.
Cost: $5 per family per session which goes toward craft supplies and snacks. Infants 0-6 months are free.
