ALICE LOUISE DUNLAP, 94
ALICE LOUISE DUNLAP, 94, of Fort Wayne, died Friday, April 22, 2005, in Sterling, Colorado. She was born to Harry A. and Metta M. King, on July 15, 1910. She married Ralph W. Dunlap, May 10, 1928. She worked for Wolf & Dessauer as a manager for women’s retail clothing until it closed. She then worked for L.S. Ayers and Hunters Department Stores, until retirement. She was a member of Plymouth Congregational Church in Fort Wayne, since 1939.
Survived by two sisters, Alleen Kipfer of Grabill, and Gretchen Moore of Ossian; three grandchildren, Dick Brown of California, Karlene Power and Kenny Brown, both of Colorado; five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Dunlap; daughter, Betty Jane Brown; and granddaughter, Denise L. Brown; four brothers, Paul, Robert, Ralph, and Max King; and two sisters, Wanda Mahnensmith and Mildred King.
Service was Wednesday, April 20, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road, Fort Wayne. Burial at Oaklawn Cemetery in Ossian.
