DOROTHY ANN “DUCKY” LaMASTER, 76
DOROTHY ANN “DUCKY” LaMASTER, 76, of Fort Wayne, passed into eternal life Monday, September 12, 2005, comforted by the love of her family at the Cherished Memories Alzheimer’s Unit at Saint Anne Home and Retirement Community. Born on August 22, 1929, in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of Paul and Marie Freistroffer. A graduate of Central Catholic High School, she was married to Henry “Hank” LaMaster on May 10, 1952, at St. Patrick’s Church. She was a homemaker and was employed by Allen County Voter Registration. She was a very active member of St. Therese Catholic Church, serving in liturgical ministries and Altar Society.
Survived by sons, Tim (Donna), Greg (Arlis), Pete (Dana) and John (Laura), all of Fort Wayne; 14 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Jeanne (Bill) Hammen and Nancy (Mike) Murphy; and brother, John (Susan) Freistroffer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry; and daughter, Mary Ann.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday, September 9, at St. Therese Catholic Church, 2304 Lower Huntington Road. Vigil Service and Rosary was at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road.
