EVELYN L. FRENCH, 83
EVELYN L. FRENCH, 83, of Fort Wayne, passed away, Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Lutheran Hospital. She was born October 3, 1929 in Indianapolis, daughter of the late Raymond and Ruth (Pogue) DeGraff. She was a graduate of Shortridge High School in Indianapolis and then worked as a homemaker, enjoying her grandchildren as often as possible. She was a long time member of South Wayne United Methodist Church, and currently was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her children, James French of Fort Wayne, Janet (Mark) Jacobs of Elgin, Illinois, Daniel French, Jr., and David French; grandchildren, Joshua (Kate) Jacobs, Benjamin Jacobs, Andrew French, Lauren French, and Derek French.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel French, Sr. in 1999 and her brother Robert Reagan.
A funeral service was held on Friday, May 10, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46809 with visitation 2 hours prior. Burial at Highland Park Cemetery.
