JOHN R. CROGHAN SR., 82
JOHN R. CROGHAN SR., 82, of Fort Wayne, passed away Thursday, November 8, 2012 at his home. He was born April 14, 1930 in Fort Wayne to the late Fred H. and Gladys (McCristy) Croghan. He worked at Dana and was a member of the Salvation Army.
He is survived by his children, Donna (Mike) Riehm of Rogersville, Missouri, Diana Harrell of Fort Wayne, Brenda Zahn of Rockford, Illinois, John (Donna) Croghan, Jr. of Fort Wayne, and David (Addie) Croghan, Sr. of Fort Wayne; sisters, Carol Brant of Fort Wayne and Mary (Joe) Bleakney of Zephyrhills, Florida; 18 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Iva (Ake) Croghan.
A funeral service will be Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, Fort Wayne, IN 46809 with 1 hour of visitation prior. Visitation will also be on Friday, November 16, 2012 from 5 to 8 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Prairie Grove Cemetery.
