BEATRICE “SUE” LINDLEY, 73
BEATRICE “SUE” LINDLEY, 73, of Fort Wayne, died on Monday, July 6, 2009, at Hospice Home, Fort Wayne. Born August 6, 1935, in Huntington County, she was the daughter of the late Howard “Dutch” and Hazel (Melling) Mason.
She was a nurses aid at Byron Health Center for 18 years. She was a member of First Brethren Church, Huntington and attended Avalon Missionary Church. She enjoyed traveling and was an avid Komets fan.
Surviving are her husband of 55 years, Delbert Gene Lindley of Fort Wayne; children, Patsy (Don) Boucher and Roger (companion, Teri Dawson) Lindley, both of Fort Wayne, and Sheri (companion, Kevin Schwartz) Getz of Yoder; siblings, George Mason and Emily Kreisher, both of Markle, Jerry Mason of Tacoma, Washington, and Christine Coates of Markle; sister-in-law, Noriko Mason of Bluffton; five grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by five siblings including brother, Don Mason. Funeral service was 11 a.m. Friday at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne. Visitation was from noon to 3 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery.
