RUTH HOFMANN, 67

RUTH HOFMANN, 67, of Yoder, died Sunday, December 4, 2005, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born November 24, 1938, in Oleshkowicz, Poland, she was a homemaker and member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. She was also a member of Altar Guild and Ladies Aid at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.

Surviving are her husband, Friedrich Hofmann of Yoder; daughter, Heidi (Daniel) Kleppinger of Ossian; son, Michael (Tracy) Hofmann of Fort Wayne; sisters, Agatha (Werner) Schwickhard of Germany and Gretel (John) Gresse of Springfield, Ohio; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Johan and Pauline (Ryll) Popke; and brother, Robert Popke.

Funeral service was Thursday, December 8, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 1126 South Barr Street, Fort Wayne. Burial in Concordia Cemetery Gardens.
