DOROTHY E. McFARLAND, 97

DOROTHY E. McFARLAND, 97, of Elwood, Indiana, formerly of Fort Wayne, died Sunday, October 23, 2005, at St. Vincent Mercy Hospital, Elwood.

Born September 16, 1908, in Boone County, she was a homemaker.

Surviving are a daughter from Kentucky; sister, Mary Maxine (Hershel) McCorkle of Elwood; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred L. McFarland, in 1997; son, David McFarland; sisters, Lucy Gray and Roxie Ogden; and brothers, Homer, Fred and John Gray.

Funeral service was Wednesday, October 26, at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, with visitation two hours prior.

Visitation was also Tuesday, October 25, at Jackley-Landrum Funeral Home, Elwood. Entombment in Covington Memorial Gardens.

Memorials to Roanoke Brethren Church Building Fund.
