BILLIE LOU MCARDLE-SENSENY, 82
BILLIE LOU MCARDLE-SENSENY, 82, of Fort Wayne, died Monday, March 21, 2005 at Covington Manor. Born May 26, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Melvin M. and Constance (Bogart) Beaver. She was a homemaker. She lived in Naples, Florida, for 25 years before returning to Fort Wayne in 1995. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Fort Wayne.
She was the great-granddaughter of A.C. Beaver, a prominent Fort Wayne resident and founder of The Fort Wayne Lumber Co. She was active in many community affairs, including Friends of the Fine Arts and The Fort Wayne Art Museum. She also served two terms on the Board of Catholic Charities.
She is survived by three daughters, Kathleen Hawkins of Rotunda West, Florida, Margaret McArdle of Naples, Florida and Melinda Pennycoff of Fort Wayne; one son, James McArdle of New Haven; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, James McArdle, 1973, and her second husband, Dr. Eugene Senseny, 1977.
Service was Thursday, March 24 at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Road Chapel, the Rev. Adam Schmitt officating. Burial at Lindenwood Cemetery.
