MARY ELIZABETH “BETTY” DOBLER, 89
MARY ELIZABETH “BETTY” DOBLER, 89, died Thursday, February 12, 2004, in Covington Manor. She was born in Browntown, Wisconsin. An antique dealer for over 50 years, she had sold antiques in the Country Shops of Grabill. She was a member of Lutheran Church of Our Savior.
Survivors include a son, Fred Dobler of Fort Wayne; a daughter, Louise Swihart of Fort Wayne; and grandson, Andrew Dobler of Kokomo. “Betty is also survived by her faithful and beloved cat, Tammy.”
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward H. Dobler, in 1989.
Service was 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 17th at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Homes Winchester Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road, the Rev. Keith Kriesel officiating. Entombment is in Lindenwood Cemetery.
Preferred memorials are Lutheran Church of Our Savior or the Allen County Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ACSPC).
