LORETTA CAROLINE MANTH, 96

LORETTA CAROLINE MANTH, 96, died Tuesday, March 2, 2004, at Lutheran Home. Born March 3, 1907, in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Ferdinand and Henrietta (Boehnker) Born-kamp. She worked in the office at the Allen County Board of Health for 10 years, retiring in 1971. She was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aide Society, the Valparaiso Guild and was a former member of the Fort Wayne Women’s Club.

Surviving are daughters, Jennifer Manth of Fort Wayne, Pamela Winder of Potomac, Md.; granddaughter, Rebecca Winder of Chicago, IL, Sarah Branch of Potomac Falls, Va.; and great-grandchildren, Adam and Lauren Branch of Potomac Falls, Va.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Manth, in 1997, who was a retired news editor for the News-Sentinel.

Service was at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Homes, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road, with the Rev. Douglas Punke officiating.

Entombment was in Lindenwood Cemetery Mausoleum.
