EVELYN I. GOLLIVER, 96
EVELYN I. GOLLIVER, 96, of Fort Wayne, died Saturday, January 17, 2004, at Miller’s Merry Manor. The Fort Wayne native was a homemaker and member of the First Assembly of God, having formerly been a member of The West Creighton Avenue Christian Church, for over 78 years, and active in Christian Women’s Fellowship.
Surviving are her daughter Phyllis Jean Statler and companion Kenneth H. Ringer of Fort Wayne; sons Richard Lee Mackin of New Haven and Thomas E. (Anna) Mackin Sr. at Lake of the Woods in Hudson; stepdaughters Rose Mary Wall at Lake James in Angola, Wanda Scare of Avilla and Nonda Wolfe of Fort Wayne; 28 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Frank G. Golliver; son James A. Mackin Sr.; grandson James A. Mackin Jr.; stepdaughter Marilyn Simmons; and daughter-in-law Mary Mackin.
Service was at 10 a.m. January 20th at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road. Burial was at Prairie Grove Cemetery. Preferred memorials to Heartland Hospice or the donor’s choice.
