WILBUR C. HINTON, 83

Wilbur C. Hinton, 83, died at Riverbend Healthcare on December 9, 2003. He was born on November 29, 1920, and worked at General Electric Company as a die setter for 42 years. He retired in 1982. Wilbur was a member of the I.U.E., a volunteer firefighter at G.E., and served in the Coast Guard.

He is survived by his wife Betty J. (Shafer) Hinton, two sons Wade A. (Peg) Hinton and Kim E. Hinton of Fort Wayne, two daughters Beth Ickes (Terry) of Fort Wayne, and Pamela Kruse (Charles Lamb) of Hamilton, Indiana, and one brother Elmer Hinton of Bull Head City, Arizona. He was preceded in death by his mother Elnora (Hart) Hinton and father Glen Hinton.

Services were performed by Pastor Dale Henderson on Saturday, December 13, 2003 at Klaehn Fahl & Melton Funeral Homes, Winchester Road Chapel with burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
