WALTER A. GRAUE, 82
Walter A. Graue, 82, of Fort Wayne, died Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2003. Born June 24, 1921, in Fort Wayne, he was the owner of The Beer Parlor on Pontiac Street from 1956-1972 and the original owner of The Waynewood Inn from 1972-mid 1980’s. He served in the Army in 1945, and was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church.
Surviving are four daughters Sandy Baughn of Wolcottville, Janell R. Graue of Fort Wayne, Dee Double of Ossian and Doris Urick of Fort Wayne; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Conrad Augusta Graue and Dora Windhorst and wife Bernadine A. (Wietfeldt) Graue.
Services were Friday, December 12, 2003 at Klaehn Fahl & Melton Winchester Road Chapel, with the Rev. Thomas Eggold officiating. Burial at Concordia Lutheran Cemetery. Preferred memorials to the church.
