MARCELLA (HINZ) BANTING, 91
Marcella (Hinz) Banting, 91, died Wednesday, April 17, 2002 at Covington Manor Nursing Center. A native of Mount Clemens, Michigan, she was a homemaker and Senior Class President, Monroe High School, Monroe, Michigan. She is preceded in death by her parents Frank Hinz and Freda (Breslin) Hinz and by her husband James Miller Banting who passed away May 31, 1978.
She is survived by daughter Margaret Mishler Nicholis, Fort Wayne; sister Ruth Potts, grandson Mark Stephen Mishler, Chandler, Arizona; granddaughter Deborah Ann Petrie, Detroit, Michigan; one nephew; and one niece.
Services were held Monday, April 22, 2002 at McMillen Chapel in first Presbyterian Church with burial in Harris Township Union Cemetery, Elmore, Ohio. Preferred Memorials to donor’s choice; envelopes available at Klaehn Fahl & Melton Funeral Home Wayne Street Chapel or at the church.
