HOWARD F. WINTERS, 92

HOWARD F. WINTERS, 92, of Fort Wayne, died Monday, December 22, 2003, at Lutheran Hospital. Born April 8, 1911, in Lafayette Township, he was a setup man at General Electric for 42 1/2 years, retiring in 1974. He was a member of Nine Mile United Methodist Church, Waynedale Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite and Mizpah Shrine. He enjoyed watching basketball and gardening, golf, bowling, farming and working with his tools.

Surviving are his wife Jewell Winters of Fort Wayne; daughter Geri Etzler of Fort Wayne; stepdaughters Merrilyn Barton of Fort Wayne and Lydia Clark of Danville; six grandchildren.

Service was Wednesday, December 29, 2003 at Nine Mile United Methodist Church, 6303 Winters, Fort Wayne. Visitation was at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road. Burial at Nine Mile Cemetery.
