MARIAN M. SPECK, 87

MARIAN M. SPECK, 87, of Fort Wayne, died Friday, December 19, 2003, at Lutheran Hospital. The Manistee, Michigan native, was a member of St. Michael Lutheran Church and retired in 1977 from Dale’s Drive-In after 17 years, and had also worked at Frank’s Department Store. Mrs. Speck was also active with the Allen County Workers for the Blind.

Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Leslie L. Speck; daughter and son-in-law Ruth and Steve Stiffler of Fort Wayne; grandson Ryan Stiffler of Huntertown; granddaughter Lindsay Stiffler of Fort Myers, Fla.; brother Guy Beghtel of Fort Wayne; sisters Ruth Byerley of Fort Wayne and Winnie Smith of Huntington.

Funeral service was Monday, December 22nd in St. Michael Lutheran Church, 2131 Getz Road. Calling was Sunday, December 21st in Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Homes, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

The preferred memorial is St. Michael Lutheran Church.
