DOROTHY J. THURBER, 88, of Fort Wayne, died Saturday, January 24, 2004 at her Fort Wayne residence. She was a homemaker and attended Waynedale United Methodist Church. She had a son Robert L. Thurber, Jr. (Janna) of Fort Wayne, and brothers Ralph J. Snyder, of West Unity, OH and Wallace E. Snyder of Moore Haven, FL. She had a granddaughter, Charlene Wiles (Dan) Fort Wayne and a grandson Matthew Thurber (Kris) Fort Wayne.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert L. Thurber, Sr.
Services at 11:00am Saturday, January 31, 2004 at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals. Memorials to League for the Blind & Disabled and Waynedale Lions Club. Service arrangements by Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road.
