EDITH M. HAPNER, 90
EDITH M. HAPNER, 90, of Fort Wayne, died Wednesday, April 20, 2005, at Ossian Health & Rehabilitation Center. Born December 31, 1914, in Fort Wayne, she worked for General Electric and was a member of American Legion Auxiliary Post #241.
Surviving are her daughter, Phyllis J. (William J.) Fisher of Zanesville; stepdaughter, April Shaw of Markle; seven grandchildren; eight step-grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Russell Nelson Ort and second husband, Orvil Hapner.
Funeral service was Saturday, April 23, at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Funeral Home, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
