VELMA M. GICK, 88
VELMA M. GICK, 88, of Fort Wayne, died Thursday, August 18, 2005, at Heritage Park, Fort Wayne. Born November 7, 1916, in Converse, Indiana, she was a homemaker and retired from Lincoln Life, in 1982. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church.
Surviving are sons, Richard Gick and Robert (Norma) Gick, both of Fort Wayne; daughter, Ann (Jerry) Saylor of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Pam (Jeff) Smith, Shelly (John) Schwab, Wanda (David) Osterman, Scott Saylor, Tina (Randy) Ward, Tammy (Larry) Davis, Robert (Kellie) Gick and Renee (Mike) Connor; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Gick in 1998.
Funeral service was Tuesday, August 23, at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, 1819 Reservation Dr. Visitation was Monday, August, 22 at Elzey Patterson Rodak Funeral Homes, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne. Burial in Hoverstock Cemetery, Zanesville.
