HAROLD E. “MAC” MCCABE, 90

HAROLD E. “MAC” McCABE, 90, of Fort Wayne, died June 20, 2007, at Coventry Meadows, Fort Wayne. Born April 1, 1917, in Shelbyville, he served in the Army during World War II. He was a musician, retiring as President / Owner of Tom Berry Music Company. He enjoyed golf, I.U. basketball, music, history and theater.

Surviving are his daughter, Sandy (Dan) Johnson of Fort Wayne; son, Steve (Karen) McCabe of Park Forest, Illinois; grandsons, Joshua Johnson of Fort Wayne and John C. McCabe of Frankfort, Illinois; and great-grandson, Gavin Johnson of Fort Wayne.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary K. McCabe on December 25, 1986.

Funeral service was Saturday, June 30, 2007 at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, with visitation two hours prior. Burial in St. John Lutheran Cemetery.
