QUILTING SUPPLIES NEEDED
On October 20, 2007 the Relief Society Organization (women’s group) of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is holding a charity event to make quilts for children entering into the foster care program.
The project is called “Foster of Love.” The quilts will range in size from baby to twin. The society is in need of donated material (at least 1 1/2 yards long or larger) and batting. There are many of you who have material that is no longer needed…and this would be a great reason to donate it at this time. Arrangements can be made to pick up the donations.
This is a one-day event with women from Wells, Allen and Adams counties participating. Additional helping hands on the day of the project, if anyone would like to volunteer, is welcomed. Their goal is to make 100 quilts. If you have any further questions please contact: Brenda Prange (260) 747-5229.
