MARY ELLEN FOLK, 91
MARY ELLEN FOLK, 91, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Monday, January 6, 2015. She was born on March 9, 1923 to the late Frank and Arletta (Woods) Keller. She worked as a homemaker. She was a member of the Fairview Church of God and Evening Star Home Economics Club. She was very active in the Avalon Missionary Church food pantry and a very avid fan of the Fort Wayne Komets. She enjoyed cooking, her flowers, sewing, knitting, and crocheting.
Surviving family include her daughter, Sandra (Jim) Morr of Roanoke; sister, Thelma (Mel) Grabner of Fort Wayne; brother, Fred (Betty) Keller of Florida; seven nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews, and two great great nieces.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in passing by her husband of 56 years, Foss D. “Junior” Folk, Jr.
A funeral service was at 10:30am on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Friday, January 9, 2015 at the funeral home. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
