HELEN R. BECHTEL, 73
HELEN R. BECHTEL, 73, a life-long resident of Fort Wayne, passed away at her residence on Friday, March 1, 2013. She was born November 1, 1939, daughter of the late Homer and Marzetta (Kalt) Cramer.
She worked at Magnavox for 13 years, was a writer and authored the book “My Walk With Jesus”. She also volunteered as a Foster Grandparent, worked as an aid for the school system, and was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Arcola, IN.
Surviving are her daughters, Cathy Kaiser of Jacksonville, Florida and Joann (Herman J. III) Sorg of Fort Wayne; five grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
