MARTHA FREYGANG, 83
MARTHA FREYGANG, 83, of Fort Wayne, passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Hospice Home. She was born December 27, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois, daughter of the late Wayne and Laura (Howard) Herrick.
She worked as a Registered Nurse for many years at various places. She was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church and the Lay Franciscan Order.
Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Richard Freygang; children, Ayn Freygang, Pat (Larry) Samuels, Kay’d (David) Odland, Mary (Ron, deceased) James, Mike (Kim, deceased) Freygang, James (Diane) Freygang, Bill (Lisa) Freygang, Ed Freygang, Laurie (Alan) Whisler, and Amy (Andrew) Bogle; sister Julia (Bolyn) Wolf; 31 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were 2 brothers.
Mass of Christian Burial was Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 11:00 AM at St. Therese Catholic Church, 2304 Lower Huntington Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46819 with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also Friday, March 1, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at Klaehn, Fahl, & Melton Funeral Home, 420 West Wayne Street, Fort Wayne, IN 46802 with a rosary service at 7:30 PM.
Burial at Prairie Grove Cemetery.
