RUTH O. RUSSELL, 93

RUTH O. RUSSELL, 93, of Fort Wayne, passed on Wednesday, November 16, 2011. She was a retired hairdresser. In her retirement, she remained very active in her community and Pilgrim Baptist Church.

She is survived by sisters, Lillian (Robert) Charlton and Willie Mae Freeman; nephews, Ralph Charlton and Robert (Annie) Jackson; several great nephews and great nieces. “A special thanks to her great niece, Trina Jackson.” She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 47 years, Robert Russell; one sister; and one brother. Funeral service was 1 p.m. Monday, November 21, 2011, at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling two hours prior.
Entombment in Covington Memorial Gardens.
