INA LU DEPUE, 85
INA LU DEPUE, 85, formerly of Fort Wayne, passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at Peabody Retirement Community, North Manchester. She was born May 21, 1929 in Fort Wayne to the late Ira Gale and Mildred M. (Collins) Clevenger. She graduated from Central High School and then worked for Lincoln Life Insurance Company and Summer’s Bakery before staying home and working as a homemaker in order to love and care for her family. She then worked at Key III Candies from 1974 to 1979.
Surviving are her husband, Bert B. DePue of North Webster; sons, Steven (Cindy) DePue of Fort Wayne and Kevin (Karen) DePue of North Webster; sisters, Peggy Miller and Jane Harmeyer, both of Fort Wayne; seven grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were siblings, Lloyd Clevenger, Robert Clevenger, Marion Harkenrider, Eldon Clevenger, and Max Clevenger.
Funeral service was Saturday, October 11, 2014 at 10:30 AM at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46809 with visitation 1 hour prior. Visitation also Friday, October 10, 2014 from 2 to 6 PM at the funeral home. Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
