CONNIE L. WELLS, 55

CONNIE L. WELLS, 55, of Hoagland, died on Saturday, June 20, 2009, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born in Warsaw, daughter of Clyde Hobbs and Harriet Archer, she was a graduate of Indiana University with a BA in Accounting. She worked at Kmart for 26 years prior to starting Wells Accounting.

She was dearly loved by both her employees and clients.

“She had a genuine love for all people.”

She loved to crochet and made many beautiful pieces. Her final joy was becoming a grandma for the first time, in January.

She is survived by her husband, Albert Wells; son, Pvt. Nathaniel Wells, at Fort Lewis, Wash.; daughter, Rebeccah Wells of Hoagland; grandson, Jeremiah; sisters, Terry (Bill) Jordan of Garrett and Karen (Bob) Lothamer of Fort Wayne; several nieces and nephews; and her parents.

Service was 11 a.m. Tuesday at Antioch Lutheran Church, 14908 Minnich Road, Hoagland. Calling was from 1 to 8 p.m. at C.M. Sloan & Sons Funeral Home, 1327 N. Wells St., Fort Wayne. Burial in Antioch Cemetery, Hoagland.
