RICHARD R. “RICH” “DICK” HORMANN 77

RICHARD R. “Rich” “Dick” HORMANN 77, died Monday, July 09, 2007 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. Born in Allen County, IN, he was employed as a Sales Service Specialist with Coverall Rental for 30 years retiring in 1987 he then worked for Signature Products for 7 years, retiring in 1995. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church. He enjoyed being at the lake and spending time with his grandchildren. He attended their sporting and musical events and school functions.

“His wonderful smile will be missed by all.”

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Survivors include his wife, Alberta “Bertie” Hormann of Fort Wayne; son, Kirk Hormann of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Kendra Hormann of Indianapolis, Jessica Hormann of Fort Wayne, Lindsey Bradtmueller and Kyle Hormann both of New Haven, Kassandra Hormann of Fort Wayne; brothers, Carl (Della) Hormann, Elvin “Al” (Shirley) Hormann both of Decatur, IN, Arthur (Marjorie) Hormann of Owensboro, Kentucky; sister, Marilyn Hormann of Fort Wayne; daughter-in-law, Barbara (Lynn) Bradtmueller of New Haven; brother-in-law, Richard Schlund of Fort Wayne.
Preceded in death by son Kent Hormann in 1996; brother, Norbert in 1951.

Service was 11 a.m. Friday at Peace Lutheran Church, 4900 Fairfield Ave. with calling 1 hour prior. Rev. Galen Drawbaugh officiating. Calling also 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at D.O. McComb & Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Ave. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Memorials to Peace Lutheran Church, Unity Lutheran School or Cancer Services of NE Indiana.
