ELIZABETH J. BERGDALL, 82

ELIZABETH J. BERGDALL, 82, of Fort Wayne, died Saturday, July 14, 2007, at Lutheran Homes, Inc., Fort Wayne. She was born on February 11, 1925, in Belfast, Northern Ireland. She was retired from Dana-Weatherhead, and was a member of Antioch Lutheran Church. She also formerly served as a Cub Scout leader, and Volunteer at Lutheran Hospital.

Surviving are her companion, Robert Shaefer of Fort Wayne; son, Russell D. Bergdall of Monroeville; sisters, Phemia Smiley of Belfast, Northern Ireland, and Maureen Feichter of Fort Wayne; brothers, John McBride of Fort Wayne, and Douglas McBride of Dandridge, Tennessee; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Counceller; brothers, Corbett, Sammy, and David; and sisters, Peggy, and Ann.

Service was Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne. Visitation was Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at the funeral home. Burial in Prairie Grove Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
