HERMAN PATRICK KLUG, 86

HERMAN PATRICK KLUG, 86, of Fort Wayne, died Tuesday, October 17, 2006, at his residence. Born March 17, 1920, in Fort Wayne, he was a self-employed carpenter and worked for Lebrato Brothers. He was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church, American Legion Post 296 and Holy Name Society. He was a World War II Army veteran. He enjoyed reading and woodworking and loved fishing and telling a good story.

Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Phyllis A. Klug of Fort Wayne; sons, Daniel C. (Veda) Klug of Fort Wayne; daughters, Julia (James) Zauner of Skillman, New Jersey and Laura (Jon) Pfeffer of Wells, New York; brother, James (Mary) Klug of Fort Wayne; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, Stanley Klug; brother, Paul Klug; and sister, Kathryn Schenkel.

Mass of Christian Burial was Saturday, October 21 at St. Therese Catholic Church, 2304 Lower Huntington Road, Fort Wayne. Services were Friday at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne. Burial in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
