WILLIAM H. BREEDEN, 76
WILLIAM H. BREEDEN, 76, of Fort Wayne, died Wednesday, October 11, 2006, at Lutheran Hospital. Born in Fort Wayne he served in the Army, in Germany, during the Korean War. He was a Fire Prevention Chief for the Fort Wayne Fire Department, retiring after 23 years of service in 1985. He then became the Safety Director at the G.M. Plant while it was under construction. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, where he was an Usher for many years.

Surviving are his wife, Rose; sons, Chris (Ruth) of Peachtree City, Georgia and Greg (Grace) of Lincoln, Nebraska; daughter, Diane (Jonathon) Durden of Peachtree City, Georgia; sister, Martha Guisinger of Columbia City; brother, Charles of Fort Wayne; and grandchildren, Erica, Jared, Rebecca Breeden, and Justin and Shelby Durden.
Funeral service was Saturday, October 14, at Peace Lutheran Church. Visitation was at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery.
