VIRGINIA L. TURNER, 90
VIRGINIA L. TURNER, 90, of Fort Wayne, died Monday, October 16, 2006, at Saint Anne Home, Fort Wayne. Born September 22, 1916, in Elkins, West Virginia, she retired from Corning Factory, W. Virginia, in 1978.
She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church and was a loving grandmother and great-grandmother.
Surviving are her grandchildren, Heather (Timothy) Klage and Heidi (Mathew) Densel, both of Fort Wayne; Scott (Carol) Bernhart of Arlington, Texas and Brian Bernhart of New Orleans, Louisiana; seven great-grandchildren; and sister, Alma Douglas of Elkins, West Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Turner, in 1958; daughter, Sonja Bernhart; and sister, Evelyn Newell.
Funeral service was Saturday, October 21, at Bethany Lutheran Church, 2435 Engle Road. Burial in St. John’s Cemetery. Arrangements by Elzey Patterson Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne.
