SMOKE ON THE WIND
I wonder what words of comfort I may offer the readers of Smoke on the Wind?‑ There is little comfort in the morning news, and then if we turn on the evening news?‑ Well, the good news that is there are some real good buys on cars, trucks, SUVs, motor homes, etc.‑ The bad news?‑ I don’t need to tell you, do I?‑ The bottom line is:‑ What brings us into balance and gives us peace, harmony, joy, love and respect?
I offer the following as to what works for me and can also work for you.
Get up early and greet the day with a smile prayer.‑ What is a smile prayer, you ask?‑ It is praying, knocking, asking, and most of all having the faith of a child, asking God to show you something to smile about.‑ It may not happen when you go to the pumps to fill up, but it will happen.
My church is open 24/7.‑ It is Our Mother Earth, the woods, the forest, the rivers, lakes and streams, the rain and the rainbows.‑ Come as you are and bring your love and respect for all creation.‑ I promise you will smile.
I walked in the woods this early morning and said a smile prayer for you.‑ Are you?‑ If not, when will you?
