Late Models – Christmas came early this year at Al Cook Jr.’s house, Cook started the year in dominating fashion with 8 main event wins in 9 starts and he is closing out the year in the same way winning the last 2 main events and locking up the 2005 Baer Field Speedway Track Championship. Cook jumped out to an early lead and ran away with the event. Derek Hoffman made a late race to get around Jared Neal for 2nd place. Fast Eddie Spangler and Neal Richardson followed Neal across the line.

1/2 Mile Modifieds – Joe Wormcastle and Jeremy Wallen continued their season long points battle, Wormastle won his heat and finished 4th in the main, to maintain his slim 36 point lead over Wallen who was 6th in his heat and 2nd in the main event. Pete Wormcastle took his 2nd main event win of the season after taking an early lead and then holding Wallen off for the final 15 laps. Dean Cook was 3rd, Joe Wormcastle 4th and Jerry Brown 5th.

Street Stocks – Bobby Berring Jr. took home his 8th main event win of the year. Berring took the lead early for Jamie Garrett and was never headed. Garrett would come home 2nd. 3rd place point runner Scott Minnick would home in 3rd followed by Roy Barroquillio and Jonathan Martin.

Mini Stocks -The closest of the 4 class point championships is the Mini Stocks, Points Leader Justin Meriwether and Keith Woods have swapped the bad luck back and forth all season. Last week Woods blew a motor and this week Meriwether blew a head gasket and now Meriwether leads by a mere 22 points heading into the final points paying race on September 9th. Woods won his 5th main event of the season while Meriwether finished in 14th place. Thomas Latham J. chased Woods across the finish line for 2nd followed by Zac Sip, Bob Masters and Tim Howard.
