BAER FIELD BUZ
~RICHARDSON IN VICTORY LANE~
Stock Car Fall Classic – 67 stock cars timed in trying for the 50 Lap A Main Event. Baer Field Speedway regulars dominated the top 3 spots and in the end it was a daring late race pass on the outside that found Neal Richardson in victory lane. Al Cook Jr. started the race on the pole and a lot of people were picking Cook to bring the 88 K105 car home in first place. Richardson started back in the 5th row and worked his way to 2nd place within a few short laps. Richardson hounded Cook for the almost 40 laps before making a daring pass around the outside of Cook exiting turn 2. Cook would come home 2nd followed by Derek Hoffman, Mickey Cornwall and Rick Brown.
