RALPH E. MARTZ, 78
RALPH E. MARTZ, 78, of Roanoke, died Saturday, June 4, 2005 in Fort Wayne. Born February 19, 1927 in Fort Wayne, he owned Ralph’s Barber Shop for several years and was a truck driver for General Electric, Gibson Grain and Dennis Grain. He enjoyed woodworking and being with his family. He was a member of the Roanoke American Legion and was an Army veteran of the Korean conflict.
Survived by his two sons, Eric L. (Dinah) Martz and Ryan E. Martz, both of Fort Wayne; sisters, Helen Hamilton, Roanoke and Susie (Larry) Miller, Zanesville; grandchildren, Jason Martz, Joshua Martz, Mariah Martz and Macie Martz; and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lu Martz.
Service was Wednesday, June 8, at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne. Burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne.
